We have a great opportunity for an engaging Demand Planner to join our Kmart team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate demand forecasts, review demand forecasts against merchandise forecasts, and manage input of sales history cleansing and market intelligence to support forecasting.

What you'll be doing

Working for Kmart as part of the inventory team you will:

• Maintain accurate demand forecasts through the application of algorithmic models against historical sales & consider future tactics applied by merchandise marketing and operations to meet agreed forecast accuracy targets.
• Routinely review demand forecasts against merchandise forecasts to ensure alignment with agreed business plans.
• Manage input of sales history cleansing and market intelligence to support forecasting.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

• Proven experience within inventory management in a retail environment
• Strong analytical, time-management, problem solving and communication skills
• Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent ability in building strong relationships with key business areas to achieve outcomes
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• High level of attention to detail & the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
